Peace Offering (BLC).
A Bant group-hug pillowfort deck from Bloomburrow. Ms. Bumbleflower hands opponents cards while you draw more, grow your team, and turn all that card flow into a win.
The Commanders
Peace Offering is the Bant group-hug deck from Bloomburrow. You give your opponents cards, you gift them draws, and you make yourself hard to attack while quietly pulling ahead of everyone you are being so generous to. It is a friendly deck with a sharp edge: all that shared card flow feeds your own payoffs, and the table often does not notice the trap until the life totals start dropping.
Ms. Bumbleflower turns your spells into value for everyone, but mostly for you. Every spell you cast makes an opponent draw a card, puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature, and gives it flying until end of turn. Cast a second spell in a turn and the ability nets you two cards on top. Play a couple of cheap spells and you are drawing, growing a creature, and putting a flier in the air every time. She keeps opponents happy while she builds your board and your hand.
Key Cards
Mangara, the Diplomat
Mangara draws you a card whenever an opponent swings two or more creatures at you, and again whenever an opponent casts their second spell in a turn. In a pod where everyone is casting spells and looking for someone to attack, he never stops drawing. He also has lifelink, so he pads your total while he does it. He punishes the table for playing the game, which is exactly what a pillowfort deck wants.
Baird, Steward of Argive
Baird makes attacking you cost mana: one generic per creature aimed at you or your planeswalkers. It rarely stops a determined player outright, but it buys time and pushes the table to swing at someone else. That breathing room is what lets a group-hug deck set up without getting run over. Pair him with Mangara and every attack against you either costs mana or draws you cards.
Rites of Flourishing
Everyone draws an extra card each turn and everyone gets a second land drop. On paper it helps the whole table, but you are the one built to convert extra cards into a win. It fills your hand for Psychosis Crawler and the big hand-size threats, and the extra lands ramp you toward your expensive spells. Group hug on the surface, personal engine underneath.
Mr. Foxglove
When Mr. Foxglove attacks, you draw cards equal to the defending player's hand minus your own. Since this deck is constantly stuffing opponents' hands full of cards, that number gets large in a hurry. If somehow you do not draw, you get to put a creature straight onto the battlefield instead, so the attack is never wasted. He has lifelink too, which keeps you out of range while you refill.
Psychosis Crawler
Its power and toughness match your hand size, and every card you draw makes each opponent lose a life. This is the card that turns all the generous drawing into a kill. In a deck full of Kwain, Rites of Flourishing, and Ms. Bumbleflower triggers, you draw a pile of cards each turn cycle and ping the whole table down. Drop it after you have set up the draw engines and the game clock starts ticking fast.
Promise of Loyalty
Each player keeps one creature and sacrifices the rest, and the survivors can't attack you as long as they carry the vow counter. It is a symmetrical wrath that leaves you defended on both ends: the board gets cleared and whatever your opponents keep is pointed away from you. In a slower group-hug game it resets an aggressive table without wrecking your own plan. Use it when the pod gets ahead of you on board.
How to Play
Set up the fort early with Baird and Mangara so the table looks elsewhere while you build. Lean into the group-hug pieces like Kwain and Rites of Flourishing to grow everyone's hand, knowing you are the one with payoffs for it. Once Psychosis Crawler or Mr. Foxglove is online, all that shared drawing becomes your win condition, whether that is draining the table one card at a time or refilling faster than anyone can pressure you. Ms. Bumbleflower keeps the counters and fliers coming every time you cast, so chain cheap spells to trigger her second draw. If an aggressive board gets ahead of you, Promise of Loyalty resets it and leaves your opponents pointed the other way.
