Mechanics
Mobilize
When a creature with mobilize attacks, it creates that many tapped and attacking 1/1 red Warriors, which are sacrificed at the next end step. Free damage every combat, and free bodies for a sacrifice outlet before they expire.
Flurry
Flurry triggers when you cast your second spell in a turn. It pushes the Jeskai deck toward cheap spells and holding one back rather than dumping the hand.
Delve
Exile cards from your graveyard to help pay a spell cost. The Sultai deck fills its own yard first, so delve turns dead cards into discount mana.
Dragons
Dragons run through all five decks, and the Temur build in particular treats them as its win condition rather than a theme.
The set
Tarkir: Dragonstorm returns to the plane where the clans and the Dragons were at war, with the timeline where both survived. That gives the Commander set its shape: five decks, one per wedge, each carrying its clan identity.
The mechanics split along clan lines. Mobilize is the aggressive Mardu style trigger, flurry rewards the Jeskai spell counting plan, and the Sultai deck leans on delve and graveyard recursion. Dragons appear across the whole set, most heavily in Temur.
Where to start
Temur Roar is the crowd pleaser and the easiest to upgrade, since every Dragon you own already fits. Abzan Armor is the most unusual, and it needs its anthem effects to stay on the board to function.
